Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 — Preamble and Seller Identification

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "Terms") govern all product sales made through the website caracoteen.fr or caracoteen.com, operated by:

Placing an order on the website constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. These Terms take precedence over all other documents, unless a prior written agreement states otherwise.

Article 2 — Products and Availability

The products offered for sale are lingerie items from Caracoteen's original stock, designed in Europe using high-quality materials (microfibre, micro-modal, lace).

The online shop is open for a limited period as part of an exceptional clearance sale. Stock is limited. Products are available while supplies last.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and may choose between:

•       A full refund of the amount paid

•       An exchange for another available product of equivalent value

Article 3 — Pricing

All prices are listed in euros (EUR), inclusive of all applicable taxes (VAT included). Shipping costs are displayed separately and added to the order total at the checkout summary, before the order is confirmed.

Caracoteen reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the prices in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

Article 4 — Ordering

An order is confirmed after the following steps have been completed:

•       Products have been selected and added to the basket

•       Delivery information has been provided

•       A payment method has been selected and payment has been confirmed

An order confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. Caracoteen reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a stock issue or suspected fraud.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is due immediately upon placing an order. The accepted payment methods are those made available during the checkout process on the website (credit/debit card, etc.), secured through the Shopify Payments platform.

Banking details are not retained by Caracoteen. All transactions are processed by a secure third-party payment provider.

Article 6 — Delivery

Orders are dispatched to the address provided at checkout. Delivery timeframes are given as estimates only. Caracoteen shall not be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier.

In the event of a damaged or lost parcel, the customer must contact Caracoteen within 48 hours of the expected delivery date at: contact@caracoteen.com.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without being required to provide a reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision to contact@caracoteen.com before the deadline expires, indicating the order number and the items concerned.

The refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned items, using the same payment method as the one used for the original order.

Article 8 — Returns and Exchange Policy

8.1 General Conditions

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 calendar days of the order's receipt date. After this period, no return or exchange will be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

•       Be returned in their original condition, unworn and unwashed

•       Have their original tags still attached

•       Be returned in their original packaging

8.2 Returns Procedure

To initiate a return, the customer must send an email to contact@caracoteen.com indicating the order number, the items concerned, and the reason for the return (refund or exchange).

•       Await confirmation and shipping instructions from our team

•       Return the items securely packaged to the address provided

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the item is defective or the return is due to an error on our part.

8.3 Refunds

If a return is accepted, the refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days from receipt and verification of the returned items. The refund will be made using the same payment method as the one used for the original order.

8.4 Exchanges

For exchange requests (size, available colour), Caracoteen will process the request as promptly as possible, subject to availability of the requested item in stock. If the requested item is no longer available, a full refund will be offered.

8.5 Items Not Eligible for Return

In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, certain items cannot be subject to the right of withdrawal if they have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Accordingly, lingerie items that have been worn, washed, or from which tags have been removed are not eligible for return.

Article 9 — Personal Data

Personal data collected during the ordering process (name, address, email) is used exclusively for the purpose of processing and managing orders, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Customers have the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data by contacting: contact@caracoteen.com.

Article 10 — Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer is encouraged to contact Caracoteen in the first instance at contact@caracoteen.com in order to seek an amicable resolution.

If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to a consumer mediator prior to any legal proceedings, in accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
